Can I have a USDA loan and an FHA loan at the same time?

I currently have a USDA backed loan for my primary residence. I’ve been the home over 3 years and I’m looking to put it up for rent an buy something bigger. Am I allowed to have an FHA for the second home?

This would really be a FHA loan on your first home (with the USDA loan being on a rental). This is allowed on FHA loans sometimes, especially if you need the 2nd loan as you can’t sell the house (is this the case or could you say this is the case). Anyhow, since 2nd loans for FHA are allowed, I guess 2nd loans (with the 1st being a USDA loan) should be allowed too.
